The Chicago Blackhawks have a big problem to solve for next season and that's in between the pipes. Starter Corey Crawford is an unrestricted free agent and there's nobody else who can really step up in the organization and take over the #1 spot. Crawford has said he'd be open to taking a hometown discount and it looks like the Blackhawks are looking for just that. According to Scott Powers of The Athletic, the Blackhawks have made Crawford an official offer and it's definitely considered a hometown discount. After carrying an AAV of $6million over his last contract, the Blackhawks have offered Crawford a one year deal worth $3.5million. "I heard Monday that contract negotiations were still ongoing. It's believed the Blackhawks offered Crawford a one-year deal worth about $3.5 million. The ball is now in Crawford's court." Do you think Crawford will accept this type of deal?
