Johnny Gaudreau's little brother Matthew was moments away from becoming a dad with sad pregnancy announcement

In an unexpected turn of events, brothers Matthew Gaudreau and Johnny Gaudreau's life was taken from the world after a collision while riding bicycles together.

Since, the driver has been taken into custody, Matthew and Johnny's sister, who was getting married just 24hrs after the disaster has canceled their wedding, and the hockey world has poured with emotion and support.

In another turn of events, the wife of Matthew Gaudreau, turns out to be expecting a little one and is due in four months- and will sadly be without his father, Matthew.

"And beyond the messages, there are players who wanted to offer concrete help to the two brothers' loved ones. A crowdfunding campaign was launched to help Matthew's family, while his partner Madeline is due to give birth in a few months.

And among those who made donations, we note Cayden Primeau : the CH goalie donated $1,000 to Matthew's family."
