The NHL has revealed the finalists for this season's top rookie player award, the Calder Trophy.
One of the finalists is Connor Bedard, a talented 18-year-old center for the Blackhawks. Despite facing challenges like a midseason broken jaw, Bedard led both rookie and team scoring with impressive stats: 22 goals, 39 assists, and 61 points in 68 games.
His standout play, leading in shots on goal and takeaways among rookies, shows his impact on the ice.
Also among the finalists is Brock Faber, a defenseman for the Wild. His consistent strong play throughout the season earned him recognition as one of the league's top rookies.
Rounding out the trio of finalists is Luke Hughes, a defenseman for the Devils. His impressive performances on defense have caught the attention of fans and analysts alike.
As excitement builds for the announcement of the Calder Trophy winner, the nominations of Bedard, Faber, and Hughes highlight the exceptional talent among this season's rookie class.
