After losing the last two games on home ice by a combined score of 9-5, the Chicago Blackhawks host the Minnesota Wild tonight.
The Wild are one of the hottest teams in the NHL at the moment going 8-1-1 in their last 10 games with 5 wins in a row.
It won't be easy for the Hawks and assistant coach Marc Crawford has had enough with the lacklustre efforts at practice. The Blackhawks were working on forechecking on Tuesday, a drill that Crawford was leading and he absolutely lost it.
"F2, what the F*CK are you checking?"
F2 is the second forward that enters the zone during a forecheck, an area of concern and soft play for the majority of the season.
Blackhawks' forward
Dylan Strome understands Crawford's frustration and hopes the team can step up and respond against the Wild.
'That wasn't a great effort [Monday],' Strome said. '[We have] to be more desperate than that, especially now. . . . [Crawford] does a good job of showing his emotion. He has been around for a long time, and he knows when to do it and when not to do it. Clearly, he felt like we needed it, and we'll respond [Wednesday].'
'It's great when coaches and players are showing emotion,' Entwistle said. 'That means people care. They want to get everyone giving their 100%.'
Do you think they've got any chance against the Wild?
