Reason behind 22-year old goaltenders 'unexpected' death revealed

University of Oregon goaltender Henry 'Hank' Bradford unexpectedly passed away at 22 years of age

The University of Oregon suffered a saddened death within the team just one year ago, and they have unfortunately lost another one of their players once again, 22-year old hockey goaltender Henry Bradford passes away from freak event , but the reasoning was unconfirmed.

Now sadly, on Tuesday, it's been revealed by Henry's mother, Karin Erickson Bradford, according to a report, that her son passed away after suffering a 'cardiac event' in his apartment, according to Dailyemerald.com

The world lost a kindhearted soul yesterday. We are still processing the news.
He missed a team event which was so unusual it triggered a welfare check. It seems he suffered a cardiac event in his apartment yesterday afternoon.

In a post made by University of Oregon they described him as a 'incredibly kind' and a 'thoughtful man'.

His obituary read as follows

Henry Bradford, affectionately known as Goo, Spanky, Hank, and King Henry, passed away on March 20, 2024, at the age of 22. Born on November 1, 2001, in Arlington, TX, he made a significant impact on those around him during his brief time on earth. Henry most recently resided in Eugene, OR, where he proudly served as a goalie for the Oregon Ducks, showcasing his dedication and talent in the sport he loved.

Henry is survived by his loving parents, Mike and Karin Bradford; his devoted brother, William Bradford; and his cherished grandmother, Sonja Burleson. He is also remembered by his grandparents, Harold and Dana Bradford, along with a great aunt and uncle, John and Sarah Erickson. The Jewell family, who provided him with unwavering support as a special Billet family, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

Henry's vibrant spirit and passion for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and teammates.
