Chicago Blackhawks general manager Stan Bowman has been making some minor moves lately and has made some contract space. After a quick breakup with Jason Garrison, the Blackhawks now have two empty contract spots having used 48 of the 50 allowed.According to Bowman, it sounds like he already has a plan for one of those contract spots. Bowman told Scott Powers of The Athletic that the team could potentially sign prospect Philipp Kurashev this year. The 19 year old put up a great performance at the World Junior Championships and led the tournament with six goals. Kurashev currently has 43 points in 33 games for the Quebec Remparts of the QMJHL.
