The US National Anthem has been a galvanizing song for many Canadian fans who are upset with the current geopolitical situation, and superstar Brad Marchand shared his thoughts on the matter.

Team Canada and Boston Bruins superstar Brad Marchand was recently asked about the state of hockey, and its fans as Canadians continue to boo the "Star Spangled Banner".
Marchand, like the rest of the players on Team Canada, shares the ice with some of these players(McAvoy, Swayman), so booing the Anthem has never occurred to them, despite the growing tensions on both sides of the border.
Reports asked him how he felt about it, as Canadian fans have been booing the National Anthem before the Four Nations Face-Off began.
Marchand believes that they shouldn't be booing the American players on the ice, as they don't have a hand on the lever of political happenings in the US right now.

In reality, Marchand is correct they needn't boo the American players. It is easy to say they're not, they're booing the origination of the political tensions and the Anthem itself is a symbol of those tensions.
Since NHL players have no chance of effecting change on a level that could affect the situation, they will have to push through the weekend, especially on Saturday as Canada and America will clash on the ice.
Both Canada and America won their first matches this week, as Team USA plowed through Juuse Saros and Finland.
While Canada won a hard-fought battle against Sweden, which ended in overtime 4-3.
The two teams are star-studded, and the background is set, who will take the victory during the biggest international match of the year?
