With the power of the sun, the Capitals Blind Joonas Korpisalo
The Washington Capitals have started playing a smart, obvious trick on opposing teams.
During the Ottawa Senators game against the Washington Capitals, netminder
Joonas Korpisalo was a victim of circumstance. That created an obvious advantage for the Washington Capitals, as Korpisalo was attempting to guard the goal, something happened.
The goalie was blinded by the sun, which would shine brightly into his face from one of the entrances into the stands.
A bright light consumed Korpisalo's mask, and it would be obvious that he was under duress all the while.
The officials would also end up victims of the sun, which was determined to interrupt their ability to have a clear vision of the ice.
While no one can accuse the referees of being amazing at their job, this added to an already hilarious, but unfortunate situation for the visiting team.
