Corey Perry, who is also known as the worm was up until recently, the 2nd player aside from Marian Hossa to play in 3 Stanley Cup Finals with three different teams.

With the Edmonton Oilers punching their Stanley Cup Finals ticket, Corey Perry's career will end on a different note.

The worm instead thanks to being rostered by the Oilers set a record, by being the only player in the NHL to play on another team, his 5th team to be exact to be play in the Stanley Cup Finals.

This is a strange statistic for the former Hart Trophy winner, who albeit has only won 1-Stanley Cup with the Anaheim Ducks, the team who drafted him.

He would then not reach the Finals again until 2020, with the Dallas Stars, following it up by signing in Montreal, again both times losing to the red-hot Tampa Bay Lightning.

The in an unlikely scenario, Perry would sign with the Tampa Bay Lightning only to lose to the Colorado Avalanche in the Stanley Cup Finals.

The 39-year old was traded to Chicago from Tampa Bay for a 7th round pick to acquire him, then would be terminated in the middle of the season for an incident involving a staff member.

He would be out of a job for two-months prior to Ken Holland bringing him onto Edmonton's roster, which has been great for Perry's career as he has played on an contending team the last half of the season.

In 38 regular season games played with the Oilers has 21 points( 8 G, 13 A) and has an assist in 13 of the 18 Oilers playoffs games so far.
