Matt Duchene pulls off the heartbreaker celebration in double overtime
The Dallas Stars faced the Colorado Avalanche Friday night in a must win game for the Avalanche as they were facing elimination, being down 3 to 2 in the best of seven series.
The Avalanche came out hot, scoring the games first goal in the second period but would not score for the rest of the game as it went to double overtime.
The Avalanche would ultimately end up watching their season come to an end and it's truly heartbreaking to see such a stacked Colorado Avalanche team with Mikko Rantanen, Cale Makar, Nathan MacKinnon and the list goes on lose without putting up much of a fight all series long.
Speaking about heartbreaking, the infamous Patrick Kane heartbreaker was whipped out by Dallas stars forward, Matt Duchene, after scoring the double overtime game-winning goal.
Duchene electrified the crowd by pulling off the heartbreaker and he did a great impression of Patrick Kane, when he scored a playoff goal in Chicago with the Blackhawks, ironically in double overtime as well.
