Oilers fan confronts Gary Bettman on why he hates Canadian NHL teams
Gary Bettman bears the brunt of NHL fan's hatred, as the commissioner of the league and for many wrong decisions made along the way during his career.
Many fans will never let him live down his terrible choices, which is a laundry list of errors, and mistakes made for the benefit of the owners.
Inexplicably though, an Edmonton Oilers fan reminded him of how terrible of a commissioner he is. In the middle of the Stanley Cup Finals, an Oilers fan confronts him in a close encounter.
The Clip Goes Viral
The video of the encounter has had many reactions as a result of the video, which of course surprised Bettman the most.
With the Florida Panthers winning Game 7 and the Stanley Cup Finals, it's hard to see how Bettman views the league through a tunnel lens, as his indignation towards the Oilers fans was visible.
Bettman would prefer not to be bothered by nosey and ultimately unhappy fans, and being commissioner for 31 years has obviously gone to his head, as he feels unaccountable to fans who pay good money to see the NHL every year.
It is purely coincidental that Canadian teams stop winning the cup once Gary assumed ultimate control.
Regardless, maybe one day the league will be free from the thralldom of Gary Bettman.
