Blackhawks and Canucks officially reveal they've completed a blockbuster trade

A major trade is confirmed between the Blackhawks and Canucks, contingent on Ilya Mikheyev waiving his no-trade clause to join the Chicago Blackhawks. If he agrees, which reported he will, the trade details are as follows:

Trade Details

**To Chicago Blackhawks**
- Ilya Mikheyev
- 2nd Round Pick
- Pending UFA Sam Lafferty (former Blackhawk)

**To Vancouver Canucks**
- 4th Round Pick

This deal, once finalized, will see Mikheyev and a 2nd round pick heading to Chicago, along with the rights to re-sign former fan-favorite Sam Lafferty.

In return, the Canucks will receive a 4th round pick, providing them with some future draft assets as well as an offload on cap space.
