Blackhawks defensemen Seth Jones traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs?

The Chicago Blackhawks aren't the ideal situation according to defenseman Seth Jones, who wasn't looking to play in a rebuilding situation. Fortunately for him, the Toronto Maple Lines blueline is lacking in size and physicality.

The kind of physicality they've been missing since Luke Schenn, and Seth Jones could offer that, plus some offensive capabilities as well.

On the 32TP Elliote Friedman thought that Jones could be an answer for the Maple Leafs' blue line, should a major change arise during the post-season:

Could Jones Fit In Toronto?

Jones's contract is a bit expensive, and his game had been lacking up until this season. With Jones past his prime, would the Maple Leafs benefit from trading for Jones, with 6 years remaining on his deal?

Treliving needs the help on the blueline and would be a discount compared to Mitch Marner's contract, at $9.5 Million AAV, maybe Kyle Davidson could sweeten the deal by eating 30% of his salary for assets?
