Today, a big trade happened in Blackhawks and Flyers history. Back in 2004, the Flyers traded for Alexei Zhamnov and a fourth-round pick from the Blackhawks.
In return, the Blackhawks got Jim Vandermeer, Colin Fraser, and a second-round pick.
This trade was important for both teams. It brought two players to the Blackhawks who later helped them win Stanley Cups: Colin Fraser in 2010 and Bryan Bickell in 2013 and 2015. For the Flyers, they got Alexei Zhamnov, adding experience to their team.
It's a memorable moment for both teams, showing how trades can change the course of a season and impact a team's success.
