The Blackhawks made a move today in order to acquire another player GM Kyle David had wanted.
They traded their 2025 3rd round pick, in return receiving the 92nd overall pick in this year's draft.
#Blackhawks trade into the third round and take forward
Jack Pridham with No. 92 overall pick in 2024 NHL Draft.
They traded their third-round pick in 2025 to Carolina for this selection.
This allowed Davidson to add another prospect to the pipeline, Jake Pridham.
Pridham most recently played in the BCHL with the Kelowna Warriors and is known as a speedy RW.
Pridham fits the type of player Davidson is after, good work ethic, and a puck retrieval machine but could be considered a project.
The #Blackhawks might have drafted the three fastest players in the draft in this third-round.
After having also drafted Oliver Moore,
Nick Lardis,
Frank Nazar,
Paul Ludwinski and co., the fastest players in their drafts.
Pridham will stay one more season in the BCHL, before arriving in the NCAA to play for Boston University.
Notable: Pridham's dad, is Brandon Pridham an AGM with the Toronto Maple Leafs and has been since 2014-2015.
