Former Blackhawks forward gets moved in surprising trade around the NHL
A Former Chicago Blackhawks forward is on the move once again.
Since departing from the Blackhawks, Alex Nylander has seen limited action, appearing in only 14 NHL games and recording one goal and one assist, he's 'fallen off' quite hard.
The Columbus Blue Jackets have acquired Nylander along with a conditional 2026 6th round draft pick from the Pittsburgh Penguins.
In exchange, the Penguins have received forward Emil Bemstrom.
Nylander's journey continues as he transitions to a new team, hoping to make an impact with the Blue Jackets.
