Mitch Marner reveals if he'd accept a trade to the Chicago Blackhawks
Mitch Marner has a short list of four teams he'd prefer to play for in the NHL, according to NHL Insider, David Pagnotta.
Pagnotta and The Fourth Period found that Marner did some digging and there was pertinent information the Toronto Maple Leafs and GM Brad Treliving tried to downplay rumors of Mitch Marner's desire to exit the organization, but they haven't died down.
At the beginning of the week, there were rumors that a deal was in place to send Mitch Marner to the Utah HC, and in retrospect it was all just another rumor.
According to The Fourth Period and David Pagnotta, there's been an update on a possible trade of Mitch Marner elsewhere:
»I believe there are four teams he would go to. I believe there are a few moreif they are going to try and do this, they are going to try and maximize the value as much as they can (regarding paying signing bonus/signing extension)I think Vegas would be a team he would go to, I think Dallas would be, I think Chicago would be - I don't know how Chicago would work, I don't see a fit there, and I think there is Nashville and a few more he would consider.»
«The Leafs were pissed. They were genuinely, genuinely upset.»

There you have it, according to TFP's Pagnotta the Blackhawks are one team Marner would consider going to.
That shows how much pull GM Kyle David will have now, since Connor Bedard's arrival in Chicago.
But the difficult part of it all, will be to make the money and assets work, should the Maple Leafs abandon ship on the 90+ point winger.
