OFFICIAL: Chicago Blackhawks trade forward Anthony Beauvillier to Nashville
The Chicago Blackhawks have traded forward Anthony Beauvillier to their rivals, the Nashville Predators. Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reported the move, with Frank Seravalli of Daily Faceoff noting that Nashville will send a 2024 fourth-round pick to Chicago in return.
This marks Beauvillier's second trade this season, showing how players can move between teams in the NHL. The Blackhawks decided to let go of Beauvillier, possibly to get future assets to help their team.
Meanwhile, the Predators add Beauvillier to their lineup, hoping he can contribute as they aim for a playoff spot. It's always interesting when division rivals make trades, and this one adds some excitement to the mix.
