The AHL's Rockford IceHogs have made it into the Calder Cup playoffs this season, with a great set of prospects in the minor leagues.

The team is loaded with talent with players like Louis Crevier, Cole Guttman, Lukas Reichel, and Drew Commesso.

The team was battling it out in overtime, as winger Luke Philp took control from the puck from the Hogs defensive end, cutting through the neutral zone and defenders to pass it to Louis Crevier on his right.

Crevier shot the puck, with urgency and quickly destroyed the Wolves' hopes of beating the IceHogs in their final regular season game in the AHL.

Louis Crevier has proven not only to have a great presence as a defensive-defenseman but has potential offensive upside as well, with these kinds of plays.

Crevier played 41 regular season games with the Rockford IceHogs, posting 11 points(3 G, 8 A) with a plus/minus of +12 and 2 GWG this season, proving he's not just a one-dimensional defenseman.

The IceHogs will take on the Grand Rapids Griffins next on April 27th to begin the AHL playoffs.

The team is 39-26-5-2 during the AHL regular season.
