He has made news recently, as he has committed to the University of Michigan hockey program for the 2026-2027 season.

Kosick is notable in the way that he is the first British Columbia 2008-born U18 to make a commitment to an NCAA school.

He is smashing Connor Bedard's records such as in 2021-2022, when he beat Bedard as a 13-year-old, becoming the 1st all-time PPG player during that period.

As he now is in the WHL, drafted 11th overall in the 1st round by the Calgary Hitmen.

The 2026 NHL draft-eligible center looks to be one of the next prospects that NHL teams will have to consider as a player with lots of upside, should he continue his production.

Noah Kosick had 22 goals, 74 assists, and 96 points with the Pacific Coast Academy Under 15 Team in 2021-2022 which is probably why he entered the year as the favorite to go first overall in the 2023 WHL Draft. Noah Kosick only had 10 goals, 35 assists, and 45 points on the Pacific Coast Academy Under 18 Team in the CSSHL in 32 games after getting promoted from the Under 15 to Under 18 Team, but that was enough to make Kosick eligible for the 2023 WHL Draft as an underclassmen in 2022-2023. Noah Kosick also had 1 goal, 2 assists, and 3 points in 3 games during the 2023 CSSHL Playoffs.
