Bissonnette didn't exactly lead a regaled career in the NHL, as he was primarily muscle on ice. Not a skilled player, or didn't have many legendary or memorable moments on ice.
But he could throw punches, and back then enforcers still had a major role in the league, near the end of their cultural milieu.
Of course, Jay Baruchel wrote two movies about the role in "Goon" as the league would make them irrelevant.
However, much like Doug Glatt's time with the Halifax Highlanders, Biz's playoff career in the NHL was a cup of coffee.
It wasn't even legendary, no major fights, but he did play 1 second in the playoffs against the Blackhawks.
What happened? He fought Brandon Bollig.
He told the story of how it all happened, and of course, Biz wasn't wearing his tie down when the bout happened.
Fortunately, Bollig wasn't a tough customer and wouldn't make an effort to make it a fun fight.
Biz would win easily, as Bollig would fall on the ice and refs would step in.
Not much of a playoff career, but he did beat Brandon Bollig in the playoffs.
