Blackhawks complete season-ending move with Rockford Ice Hogs
The Chicago Blackhawks have made a roster move, sending forward Lukas Reichel to the Rockford IceHogs.
Reichel, 21, has played nine games with Rockford this season, tallying seven points. In his 64 NHL games with the Blackhawks, Reichel has recorded 15 points, including a goal in the team's last game against the Los Angeles Kings.
During his time with Rockford over three seasons, Reichel has accumulated an impressive 115 points.
The IceHogs are set to face the Chicago Wolves tonight at the BMO Center, with puck drop at 7 p.m.
This move provides Reichel with an opportunity to continue his development and contribute to the IceHogs' success in hopes for a Calder Cup.
