Saturday night features heartwarming tribute by the Calgary Flames organization in honor of the memory of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau

The Flames organization put on a beautiful showing for those in attendance which included video, highlights, lighting and more.

They ended up receiving high praise for their tribute and it was well deserved, even the Gaudreau family felt the need to thank them and show their love.

"Hi Calgary. On behalf of the entire Gaudreau family, we want to express our deepest gratitude to our Calgary family. Your thoughts, your prayers, your cards, your gifts and your visits have meant the world to us. The love and support you have shown for John, Matty, and our entire family has helped us through the hardest time in our lives."
Said Jaine Gaudreau.

"Good luck to the Flames tonight, we're very excited to watch you play,"
Said father Guy Gaudreau.

"Everything was always John and Matty," Meredith Gaudreau, Johnny' wife, said in her eulogy. "Matty was the best, the best brother to John. He was John's biggest fan and John was his. Matty wanted everything for John, and all John wanted to do was share it with his brother and they did.

"Matty was the perfect brother. ... I know John would not be able to live a day without his brother. He loved him so much."

"This last week has felt like I'm trapped in a nightmare I can't wake up from," Madeline Gaudreau, Matthew's wife, said her eulogy. "I feel numb, angry, sad, blessed all at once. Some days the thought of this new reality is debilitating, but mostly I just miss Matt."

The Gaudreau brothers have left a huge impact on the hockey world, and it is organizations and fans' job to keep showing their love for them- as they did for the game of hockey.
