Yesterday, it was announced that Chicago Blackhawks number two overall pick in the 2024 draft Arytom Levshunov Will make his debut to the fan base on Friday September 13th against the St Louis Blues.

The event will be the Tom Kurvers Prospect Showcase which is going to be held at Centene community Ice Center in Maryland Heights MO. This game will feature many Blackhawks prospects that have been drafted over the past couple of years and they will take on the draftees of the Blues.

There was much hype during this draft on which player the Blackhawks would choose. Many felt the Blackhawks would go the offensive side and select Ivan Demidov who ended up being selected by the Montreal Canadiens. General manager Kyle Davidson could not pass up the idea of getting a great defenseman who will complement well with Blackhawks defenseman Kevin Korchinski.

Many feel that Levshunov will be be playing for the AHL affiliate the Rockford ice hogs for his first season in professional hockey. During this game it should be mentioned that other high end prospects will be featured including Frank Nazar III, Nolan Allan, Ethan Del Mastro and Colton Dach.

The showcase will be a round Robin style of exhibition games.
