3 Blackhawks reporters issue apology following disgraceful comments
The post-season continues to take shape, as multiple NHL teams have been eliminated from the playoffs.
Despite all, the Toronto Maple Leafs have persisted and escaped elimination from the Boston Bruins, coming close to evening the series 3-2.
The Maple Leafs, like the Blackhawks, are an original six NHL team and have die-hard fans, with the core four representing the team.
One of these die-hards is Kurtis From Alberta also known as Leafs Guy on Twitter/X.com.
His dedication to the buds shows with his basement adorned by more than a dozen jerseys, helmets, and other Leafs memorabilia.
So, Mario Tirabassi from our own CHGO Blackhawks Podcast took offense with the level of dedication from Kurtis and said that the Maple Leaf fan should "Touch a Boob".
Blackhawks fans undoubtedly have die-hards of this level, so the lack of awareness, while telling Kurtis to tone it down a bit sounds a bit tone-deaf if we're being honest here.
Anyways, after the remark from Tirabassi he issued an apology to Kurtis and honestly, why should someone have to apologize for his own fandom?
The Blackhawks have their die-hards and didn't even make the playoffs this post-season.
Fortunately, the CHGO Blackhawks Podcast has enough humility to apologize for their wrongdoing, unlike a certain podcast in Columbus that shall go unnamed.
