Stanley Cup Winning Head Coach Issues Bold Statement On The Chicago Blackhawks
Vancouver Canucks coach Rick Tocchet shared a surprising statement about the Chicago Blackhawks. Tocchet is a cup-winning coach, player, and is now the head coach of the best team in the NHL standings- the Vancouver Canucks.
He said he's a big fan of Luke Richardson and the work he's doing. Tocchet recognized that the Blackhawks have faced a lot of injuries and have players coming up from the minors, making it hard to keep track of the lineup.
Despite all that, Tocchet pointed out that the one thing that stays consistent is their hard work.
He mentioned they often play close games with scores like 2-1.
Vancouver coach Rick Tocchet on the Blackhawks today:
"I'm a big fan of Luke Richardson and his work. They've dealt with a million injuries. I don't even know half the guys in the lineup sometimes because they're coming up from the minors. But the one common denominator is they work hard. They play a lot of 2-1 hockey games."
This unexpected praise gives a glimpse of how the Canucks view their upcoming game against the Blackhawks and shows respect for their opponent's commitment on the ice.
