Tragic Death Involving a Motor Vehicle Accident Strikes The Hockey World
The hockey community is hit with sad news as Minnesota High School hockey team deals with the loss of one of its own.
The sad incident happened when 17-year-old Mikayla McCarvel passed away after a car accident.
Her death has deeply affected those who knew her, and the team shared the sad news. In a sincere message, they expressed deep sorrow and asked for prayers for McCarvel's family, friends, teammates, coaches, and everyone who knew her.
"With heavy hearts and profound sadness we share that our teammate, Mikayla McCarvel, passed away last night. Please keep her family, friends, teammates, coaches and all that knew her in your prayers."
This sad event occurred three weeks after McCarvel was in a car accident, leading to a fatal traumatic brain injury.
Even though she was young, McCarvel had already made a big impact on the sport, playing in 42 games with the Minnesota High School hockey team.
