Nick Lardis was scratched before the injury as he hadn't played on the ice since January 13th.
Lardis is one of the Blackhawks' most promising prospects in the OHL, having been drafted 67th overall in the 3rd round by the Blackhawks in 2023.
This season, Lardis has played 37 games for the Brantford Bulldogs and scored 50 points with 29 goals and 21 assists.

Unfortunately, his injury has affected his season as he was considered one of the top 5 prospects for the Blackhawks.
The upper body injury has kept him out of the lineup indefinitely, and, unfortunately, his season may end due to it.
However, we have to hope that he will eventually return.
Lardis is not too far from arriving in the system, whether for the Blackhawks or with the Rockford IceHogs.
But for now, it seems Kyle Davidson got a steal of a deal with Lardis in the 3rd round.
