The last time they met, the Blackhawks showed up and regrettably gave up 7 goals to the Wild.
Only Connor Bedard and Jason Dickinson would register goals, while Nick Foligno and Seth Jones would register assists that night.
Drew Commesso would be left out to dry, giving up 7 goals, with 35 saves and a .833 save percentage.
Tonight Commesso will get another shot and hopefully redeem himself in a rematch against a divisional rival.
In for Louis Crevier and Kevin Korchinski are Nolan Allan, and veteran defenseman TJ Brodie, whom the Blackhawks signed on a two-year deal at the beginning of free agency.
While it is great to see Commesso get more reps in the NHL, the Blackhawk's prospects are slowly trickling back to the AHL.
While Brossoit is out, it is unlikely that Arvid Soderblom will get a shot at the net during the preseason as he is destined to start the season in the AHL.
So will Luke Richardson continue to roll with Petr Mrazek and Drew Commesso in the net?
If so, he'll need to find a way to keep the defense suffocating and keep the Wild and Kirill Kaprizov out of the defensive zone, which they were unable to the last game on October 1st.
More and more veterans are trickling back into the lineup as major roster cuts have taken place.
