One of the calls that has fans drawing ire against Chris Vosters is concerning.
The Blackhawks were down 2-0 to the Columbus Blue Jackets, and shortly after Philipp Kurashev would record a goal.
After the goal, Vosters would mistakenly call the goal and say the game between the two teams was tied up.
However, I don't think that is how math works in this instance.

Vosters was named the new play-by-play commentator in April of 2022 and has a two-year contract with the club.
Fans aren't happy about this:
Listen to what he says at the end...the score was 2-0 and then he said "The Hawks tie it up" Joe (@ChiSportsFanJoe) March 3, 2024
Nothing against this guy but he just isn't very good at his job. I realize how hard it is to follow an all time great but....this is bad. Richard Pacella (@RFIPRAM) March 3, 2024
How long is his contract? Because he sucks. Switch over John Wiedeman. Southside G (@Christo16273) March 3, 2024
How did the hawks think he would be a good next guy after Pat? 😂 Austin Heller (@AHeller56) March 3, 2024
He has replaced Pat Foley, who is currently attending to his health and retired, after his long and storied 39-year career.
Vosters' tenure in sports broadcasting has ranged from the BigTen Network, Fox Sports, ESPN Networks, NBC Sports, and Stadium.
Perhaps not rushing Vosters into the lead role so soon would have been a good idea, or pairing him with a leader commentator to maintain some balance in the broadcast.
Regardless, we're stuck with him.
