Connor Bedard Tries a New Role: The Team Agitator

Connor Bedard, known for scoring, is now playing a different role for Team Canada.

Although he's listed as the 13th forward (didn't even make the fourth line on the roster) and has 7 points so far, he hasn't scored recently and has only gotten a few penalties.

Bedard has started to stir up trouble on the ice, similar to NHL player Brad Marchand.

During a key moment, Bedard passed the puck from behind the goal line to Michael Bunting who was right in front of the net.

Unfortunately, Bunting missed the shot, and Bedard's scoreless streak continued.

What happened next was what really got people talking: Bedard didn't back down; he skated up and got involved in a scuffle started by Slovakia's Libor Hudacek, who was upset about an earlier up-high hit by Bedard, as seen below:

Bedard is showing a different side to his game that sure is entertaining!

Do you think it's worth the injury risk playing at the World Championship rather than relaxing during the off-season?
