A Chicago Blackhawks legend in Patrick Kane recently left the team to go play with the New York Rangers and Detroit Red Wings, but that doesn't mean he completely rid the team.
Kane was seen working with the future of the Blackhawks, Frank Nazar, at the Fifth Third Arena.
Kane keeps on showing how much love and appreciation he still has for Chicago by doing little things like these to help keep the team moving in the right direction.
Nazar was the 13th overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft by the Hawks. Nazar last year was really strong, having 41 points in 41 games at Michigan University and then transitioning to the NHL after the NCAA season was over. Nazar scored his first NHL goal in his debut, but only participated in three games. Frank is expected to be the top line left wing or to compete with Oliver Moore for the second center position.
Alex Vlasic, 22, just signed a five-year extension a little north than $4 million per season, which was a steal for Chicago that most likely came with a hometown discount. Vlasic really showed that he can be a top line defender this season and was one of the few bright spots on the team this past season.
It's nice to see Kane showing his love and appreciation for Chicago still and working with their future as the young talent work on honing their skills.
