Blackhawks reveal new linemates for Connor Bedard and fans are thrilled
The Chicago Blackhawks Anders Sorensen is cooking, as fans are excited to see Bedard's newest linemate on the ice, Frank Nazar.
The Chicago Blackhawks will take on their Central Division rivals, the Nashville Predators tomorrow at 8 PM.
Before the matchup, Anders Sorensen decided to give the youth movement more responsibility, as he placed forward Frank Nazar on Bedard's right.
The move is surprising, as Nazar has primarily served as the third-line center for the Hawks in recent weeks before he was promoted today.
In 15 games with the Hawks this season, Nazar has scored 3 points ( 1 G, 2 A ) and was in Rockford for the majority of the year.
Now Nazar will enjoy being nominated to the 2025 AHL All-Star Game, but he will be a contributor on the most important line on the ice every night.
(WIFR) - Former IceHog and current Blackhawk forward Frank Nazar is joining the 2025 AHL All-Star Classic for the first time.
Nazar will represent Rockford on the Central Division All-Stars roster at the home of the Coachella Valley Firebirds in Palm Desert, California.
Depending on how well they can gel, this could be a game-breaking line every night, as Nazar and Bedard have the speed, while Bertuzzi is the gritty, puck retriever.
We don't know what is going through Anders Sorensen's head at the moment, but it seems like now, the 1st-line could be the most overpowered line every night.
Can Nazar continue his offensive tear in the NHL? In 21 games with the IceHogs he scored 24 points ( 11 G, 13 A) and was one of Rockford's best forwards.
The former 13th overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft is in year two of a three-year ELC contract paying him $950K AAV.
