Former Hart Trophy Winner Reveals He And The Chicago Blackhawks Will Part Ways

It appears that Taylor Hall's time might be at an end with the Chicago Blackhawks, as speculation resumes whether he'll be traded or not.
Since then, Nick Foligno has significantly stepped up, for the organization and provided leadership to the young players and prospects.
Last season, Hall sat out the majority of the season due to multiple injuries and a recovery.
Fortunately for this year, his performance has been sufficient enough to get a reasonable return for the former Hart Trophy Winner.
Charlie Roumelioties of WGN Radio asked him about the possibility of a trade in the future.
Hart's Response reflected humility and respect for the organization, expressing hope for a potential return.
It's an emotional statement, and it's unfortunate for Hall that it's had to end up this way as he has proven himself to be a capable forward in the NHL this season.
While he knows his days with the Hawks, and
Connor Bedard are dwindling day by day, GM Kyle Davidson should have a plan to maximize the return on value for Hall.
He could be sent to a contender to give Hall a shot at a Stanley Cup run, and they could get maybe a 3rd-round pick or a decent prospect in return for the player.
The Hawks will have to retain a percentage of his contract to get a higher value in return, but that shouldn't be a challenge for Davidson.
«Chicago will have to eat about half of his contract, but Hall is on the trade block and Blackhawks GM Kyle Davidson is exploring his options. Hall hasn't had the best of seasons, but he's picked up his game of late and that will catch the attention of contenders.»
Hall has scored 22 points ( 8 G, 14 A ) in 43 games with the Blackhawks. While he's not the forward he was when he won a Hart Trophy, he'll provide plenty of value wherever he lands next.
It was a good run for him with the Blackhawks this year.
