Blackhawks Stanley Cup champion returns to the organization for a special reason and we have the details

It was announced prior to their home opener that the Rockford IceHogs will induct former Blackhawks champion Bryan Bickell into the Ring of Honor in February 2025.
He will become the 4th member of this recognition and during his time with the ice hogs his impact was certainly felt. He spent three seasons with the team and played 180 regular season games an incredibly helped the IceHogs reach the Calder cup playoffs in all three seasons.
Having been
drafted by the Blackhawks in 2004 through the second round 41st overall, He amassed 227 career games with the affiliate while scoring 56 goals and 59 assists. Bickell went on to have a very successful NHL career as he played for the Blackhawks for nine seasons and he was involved with three Stanley Cup victories in 2010, 2013 and 2015 .
His final season was in 2016-17 when he announced but he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis while playing for the Carolina Hurricanes.
Since he has hung up his skates, Bickell has involved himself with the ice hogs tremendously as he has been with different IceHogs community initiatives which included a tele a thon which ran for eight years and helped raise $100,000 through local charities.
The induction ceremony will take place on Saturday February 15th 2025.
