The Chicago Blackhawks have been on NBC Sports Chicago ever since the 2007-08 season. Pat Foley was the voice for all but the last season, where Chris Vosters took over.
It has a long history, but they'll be moving starting next season.
According to Scott Powers of The Athletic, the Blackhawks, MLB team Chicago White Sox, and NBA team Chicago Bulls are all moving away from NBCSCH starting in the month of October.
The three organizations will be partnering with Standard Media Group to make a new broadcasting platform.
It seems as if layoffs will happen as they're making this move. Maybe even a move in the Hawks broadcasting team, as many fans have voiced their displeasure with current play-by-play announcer Chris Vosters.
