Blackhawks fans around the Chicago area have voiced their disgust and anger towards the rollout of the CHSN network edit is now filtered into the Blackhawks dressing room as Blackhawks center Jason Dickinson gives his brutally honest take.

"We need to get it to people. And if you have to subscribe to watch us, you're never going to become a new fan. You're not going to pay the $19.99 a month."

His viewpoint is correct as this is not the way to build new fans for your fan base as your network continues to struggle and has little or no reach to many viewers because it does not have a carriage agreement. After NBC Sports Chicago was disbanded and not covering regional sports any longer, both the Wirtz family and the owner of the Chicago Bulls and White Sox Jerry Reinsdorf Got together and created
this network.

There have been significant setbacks after the rollout of this network as many fans have been unable to watch games due to blackouts, poor equipment or no equipment to witness the games and issues during the broadcast.

This is certainly not what the Blackhawks envisioned when they created this idea, but they certainly have a long way to go before they win back the trust of their fans. These decisions are now affecting their bottom line as it's hurt their ticket sales and their merchandise sales.

In the end, all three organizations will need to get together and figure out how to get this deal done so that fans of the Chicago area will be able to watch their beloved teams and not have these restrictions or mess ups constantly disrupting their entertainment.
