The Chicago Blackhawks tonight will look astoundingly different tonight as Ben Pope CST dropped some bombs on X.com earlier.

The Chicago-Sun Times reporter gave us an idea of who will be in the net tonight against the Vancouver Canucks.

After the 3-1 loss to the Seattle Kraken, Luke Richardson has decided to try Arvid Soderblom out for size.

Soderblom has looked significantly better in his play, compared to last season as he and goalie coach Jimmy Waite have worked on his weaknesses.

Mrazek gave up 2 goals despite doing his best against the Kraken, leaving the game with 23 saves on 25 shots and a .920 save percentage.

Now, Soderblom will have another shot to prove himself as he takes on the Vancouver Canucks, who despite being through of being one of the NHL's best teams have seen them struggle lately.

Soderblom has played only 4 games this season and came out with a 1-2-1 record, a 2.27 GAA, and a .933 save percentage.

His last win came against the high-flying Anaheim Ducks who pelted him with 41 shots, and he gave up 2 goals.

Can Soderblom stop the Canucks in their tracks tonight, as Bedard returns home to Vancouver?

Originally slated for a return to Rockford once Laurent Brossoit was healthy, will he maintain his dominance in net tonight?

Arvid Soderblom will likely begin the 2024-25 season in the NHL but will quickly venture to Rockford once Laurent Brossoit returns from his offseason knee procedure. Ideally, Soderblom and Commesso split time and both can perform admirably. Then, he can have a positive development track beyond his contract's expiration this season.

POLL

Is Arvid Soderblom the real backup for the 2024-2025 season with no return of Laurent Brossoit in sight?
