Chicago Blackhawks under fire with questionable social media move
June begins a new month, and with that the continuation of the Stanley Cup playoffs, and hopefully the Finals.
Preceding that, however, is the beginning of Pride Month and it is when the NHL and teams like to put into practice inclusionary tactics.
Many NHL teams and players believe in making the NHL a big tent, so the game can grow and obviously, if they have family members or friends who are LGBTIA+ feel welcome.
For example, Travis Dermott led the way in giving Bettman the finger, with Pride Tape and his unnecessary bureautic rules last season.
But this season, you wonder did the Blackhawks really change?
It appears under Danny Wirtz, did the proper communication make it to the Social Media team that this month is a month for fans who don't usually feel welcome.
Many teams have already gotten the memo and have made the effort to be inclusive, as the Boston Bruins, Calgary Flames, and Tampa Bay Lightning have already made posts on X.com recognizing Pride.
