The panelists began to discuss the issues that have been plaguing Bedard along with the rest of the Blackhawks as the team continues to be mired in this major scoring drought.
They feel that head coach Luke Richardson is continuously tinkering with his lines which could be leading to Bedard's issues as his linemates continued to change.
They also feel that Richardson should move Bedard to the wing and onto a line that can give him the spark he needs to unleash his scoring abilities and help the team win hockey games.
Bedard has shown his frustration through his statements and his body language on the bench as it appears he is going through a sophomore slump playing 20 games, scoring three goals with 12 assists for 15 points and is a - 6.
The last time Bedard scored a goal was against the Dallas Stars back on October 26 which is a nearly a month between lighting the lamp.
The Blackhawks have been very patient as they are aware he is still a teenager in that he is still learning how to be an NHL professional and becoming the face of the NHL over the next several years.
But in all fairness, the Blackhawks offense and the makeup of this team certainly does not bode well for Bedard as many players are continuing to struggle to score and the team trying to find any sense of consistency in their game.
The Blackhawks ended up defeating The Stanley Cup champions the Florida Panthers last evening by a score of 3-1 but unfortunately Bedard did not bulge that twine.
The Blackhawks will be on the road for their next game at Wells Fargo Center when they meet the Philadelphia Flyers and head coach John Tortorella for an afternoon game that starts at 1:00 PM eastern.
