Connor Bedard injures opponent and does the unthinkable
On March 10th, 2024, Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Arizona Coyotes, 7-4.
Colin Blackwell, Connor Bedard, Tyler Johnson, and Seth Jones all played a part in dealing the final blow to another rebuilding team.
During all of this, Connor Bedard accidentally hit Michael Kesselring with his stick.
Bedard would be penalized due to an accident.
Even so, despite being at fault, Bedard didn't hesitate to check up on his competitor after the fact.
The penalty occurred at 10:34 of the third period, where Bedard was penalized for two minutes.
After Bedard was sent to the box, you could see his concern for Kesselring and how he was doing afterward.
To a fault, Bedard shows empathy toward his fellow competitors, which is a quality too seldom seen in the NHL.
Bedard has 20 goals and 31 assists for 51 points in the 2023-2024 season.
