Connor Bedard releases questionable off-season goal list
Connor Bedard by all means had a successful first season, with the Chicago Blackhawks. He has been the frontrunner for the Calder Trophy with 61 points( 22 G, 39 A) in 68 games completing his first season in the NHL.
While Bedard had a successful season, despite his jaw fracture, he has found a goal to pursue in the off-season to keep improving as a player in the NHL.
The #1 overall pick has opted to improve his skating during the off-season at home in Vancouver.
Increasing his stride, endurance, and separation will benefit his game as a whole, as getting a quality shot during a breakaway will serve him and the Blackhawks well, along with giving him a new way of creating offense.
He still has a bit of a learning curve, as he hopefully plays a full 82-game season, next year. He remains dedicated to improving his skills, which is what anyone wants out of their star player.
However, with the addition of someone like Frank Nazar, it seems the team continues to get quicker.
Would Nazar being on Bedard's wing help increase the offensive output of both players? It's an interesting idea to entertain as if the Blackhawks ever want to make it to the Stanley Cup finals, they need all the help they can get.
