Connor Bedard Scores 13th Goal of the Campaign Against the Nashville Predators
Connor Bedard scored his 13th goal of the season, and 40th point of the season tonight against the Predators.
The Blackhawks earlier had a goal by
Nick Foligno called off due to "goaltender interference" but thanks to the top line of
Tyler Bertuzzi, and Connor Bedard the Hawks evened the odds.
The goal tied the game at 13:30 during the 2nd period against their Central Division rivals, who have become accustomed to being a bottom-dwelling organization this season.
Gritty forward, Tyler Bertuzzi was able to do the dirty work and get the puck into the zone with a pass that led to a perfect shot on Juuse Saros.
The goal was Bedard's 40th point of the season, and he is now on pace to score 74 points during the 2024-2025 NHL season.
Bedard's contract will expire in 2025-2026, but as he is the face of the Blackhawks franchise, the team may want to extend him before his contract ends.
If he continues to play as he is now, we should expect to see his next contract far more lucrative than his ELC.
And it appears he and his new linemate
Frank Nazar are slowly, but surely building chemistry.
«I thought we saw some moments last game, right? Some high IQ plays,» Sorensen stated, via CHGO Sports. «I thought [Nazar] had one of his better games in terms of work rate, so a little reward for him. They're like-minded players, so excited to see them together.»
Both forwards have scored a goal tonight against the Predators, and hopefully, they can continue to stay consistent after tonight.
the Blackhawks lead 2-1, after Frank Nazar's goal.
