Former Chicago Blackhawks, NHL Enforcer Calls Out Who Is Behind The Firing Of Boston Bruins ex-Head Coach Jim Montgomery

A former member of the Chicago Blackhawks had dipped in on the latest controversy and the hottest topic of the NHL, the Boston Bruins fire head coach Jim Montgomery

Since general manager Don Sweeney fired Jim Montgomery on Tuesday, he's revealed that the changes surrounding the organization are not done.

Don Sweeney sent out a warning, revealing that nobody is safe if this head coaching change doesn't change things.

Signalling potential moves of star players like David Pastrnak and or Brad Marchand.

According to reporters from Bruins Insider, fans around the organization believe that Don Sweeney himself should have been fired- not Jim Montgomery.

It appears that Bruins fans are not the only ones thinking the same, that Don Sweeney should've been fired instead of Montgomery.

But a former member of the Chicago Blackhawks- turned NHL analyst does as well?

John Scott, a lifelong enforcer in the NHL who even made an appearance at an NHL All-Star game has a strong opinion on the matter, and let his feelings be heard.

Scott, the former Blackhawk turned analyst, directed shots towards Team President Cam Neely and Team General Manager Don Sweeney of the Boston Bruins.

His opinion is something i can agree on, Scott believes that due to Neely and Sweeney playing in the NHL prior to their management jobs, they now have too much leeway within the organization.

"Good players = good executives and the mystique around who they are often deflects blame.

[Cam] Neely. [Steve] Yzerman. [Rob] Blake. [Brendan] Shanahan.

If they weren't NHL legends they would have been fired already."

Out of his long-term tenure with the Bruins, with a loaded-star studded lineup, Don Sweeney has only taken the Bruins team to the Stanley Cup Finals once.

And that was in 2019, losing to the St.Louis Blues, in Sweeney's first and only appearance in the Cup Finals since taking on the management job in 2015.

Personally, i believe it's a similar situation to the Chicago Blackhawks- but not at the same time.

Both teams would benefit from a change behind the bench, but also a change from higher up.

The Blackhawks are in win-now mode, not rebuild, where Kyle Davidson was brought into rebuild- it's now a new era.

For the Bruins, Don Sweeney's tenure is slowly ticking due to the star-studded talent and no results, if a coaching change doesn't change anything, fingers should be directed towards management.

Should the Chicago Blackhawks follow in the footsteps of the Boston Bruins and fire head coach Luke Richardson?
