Tonight, the Blackhawks host the Anaheim Ducks. Morale is high coming off a win against the Arizona Coyotes on Sunday night, but it just got increased after this good news.
Charlie Roumeliotis reported that head coach Luke Richardson said that forward Andreas Athanasiou, who's been out since November 9th with a groin injury, is returning to the lineup.
«Luke Richardson confirms Andreas Athanasiou will be in the lineup tonight. He's been out since Nov. 9 with a groin injury. #Blackhawks»
Andreas Athanasiou only participated in 11 games so far this year, having four assists and a -5. His speed will be nice to have back on the third line and will boost up Chicago, which is something they've desperately needed for a while now.
