In doing so, the Blackhawks scandal has risen again, as Quenneville would undoubtedly love to return to what he loves, coaching in the NHL.
Quenneville won 3 Stanley Cups with the Chicago Blackhawks, with Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, and a surrounding cast of who's who, including Patrick Sharp, Duncan Keith, Corey Crawford, and more NHL stars, forever memorialized on the cup.

However, due to the scandal, he was out of the league by October 2021 and no longer coaching the Florida Panthers, who now are perennial Stanley Cup contenders and playoff performers under Paul Maurice.
Panthers, Maple Leafs, and NHL fans have to wonder when Coach Q will be behind the bench again.
This led to Coach Q's daughter, Anna issuing a statement on Quenneville's actions during the scandal.
She simply refuted the idea that Joel Quenneville ever gave a letter of recommendation for the coach at the center of the scandal.
It seems she also said that Kyle aka John Doe gave Quenneville his blessings to go find a new job as a coach after appearing on the Cam and Strick Podcast.
This could be speculation as both statements haven't been confirmed yet, but if true could shift the perception of Quenneville in the ongoing situation that keeps Bowman and Quenneville out of the NHL.
