No. 2 Overall Chicago Blackhawks pick to make NHL debut at Torm Kurvers Prospect Showcase
Chicago Blackhawks fans are in for a treat, as pre-season approaches and the Tom Kurvers Prospect Showcase will be happening on September 13th-15th, 2024.
During the Tom Kurvers' Prospect Showcase, the team will send their best prospects to take on the St. Louis Blues and Minnesota Wild.
The team has announced that 2nd overall pick, Artyom Levshunov will be making his "game debut" on September 13th.
While it won't be an official NHL game, he will be wearing a Blackhawks crest, while battling the St. Louis Blues during the prospect showcase at the Centene Community Ice Center in Maryland Heights, Missouri.
Levshunov will skate with other prospects like Frank Nazar, Ethan Del Mastro, Colton Dach, and Nolan Allan.
These players were rated amongst the top ten prospects in Chicago by THN's 2024 Future Watch.
The Prospect Showcase will feature a round-robin style of tournament, and will feature prospects from the St. Louis Blues, Minnesota Wild, and the Blackhawks.
All exhibition games and practices will be free and open to the public, as no registration or tickets are required.
The Blackhawks will be hosting the tournament in 2025.
