In a bizarre moment in the dying seconds of the Chicago Blackhawks Minnesota Wild game, the referees chose to call a goal back which caused major issues in the sports betting world.

The play baffled many fans as the wild attempted to ice the game with a goal in the dying seconds of the third. While it appeared to be a lock, the referees decided to blow the whistle and call it an icing which caused the goal to be called back.

Confusion set in with the Wild bench as everyone felt this was a goal. Several fans also took to the X platform and expressed their anger towards this call as many had felt it hurt their chances in the betting parlay including for NHL player Matt Murley.

It's safe to say that many feel that this was a call that should have been called back and this goal allowed.

In the end the Blackhawks lost the game 3-2 To which Ryan Donato scored both goals including one on the power play. Connor Bedard factored into an assist but did not score any goals This time around.

Unfortunately for the Blackhawks they had a 2-0 lead and failed to hold onto it as the Wild scored three unanswered goals led by Marco Rossi and Jared Spurgeon.

The Blackhawks are trying to build consistency in their game as all players including Bedard have not found the rhythm to put games together or close them out for the win.

The Blackhawks next game will face off against the Columbus Blue Jackets as the team will be back at the United Center. It appears to be a Sunday matinee as game time will be at 3:00 PM eastern.
