The Chicago Blackhawks and Connor Bedard have had a tumultuous season. After a loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs last night, they're 8-15-2, and Connor Bedard was held scoreless.

He's had issues this season, and one of them was against another original six team, the Detroit Red Wings, who roster Patrick Kane. An NHL legend, and one of the best American-born players in the league.

Kane and the Red Wings were at the United Center on November 6th, and we got to see the two match off again.

During the game, Bedard would accidentally trip Blackhawks legend Patrick Kane. The crowd wasn't happy with Bedard's play, and if you listen to the clip he wasn't happy with himself.

On "Every Shift" they caught the play live in action and caught Bedsy's chirp of Kane.

Bedard tripped Kane 15:24 into the 1st period of the game. However, we can't ignore the chirp.

*Crowd Boos*
Bedard: F**K off
Kane: Connor got a penalty.
Bedard: Tell him to stay on his f***ing feet
Bedard: Soft as f***

Bedard's play during that period was undisciplined and suffered as a result of his inability to control his stick.

I get the frustration Bedard is going through, but I don't think that's the kinda chirp I'd put on the table against a legend.

If you're going to get penalized, make it worth it!

I think maybe take a few notes from Heath Ledger's Joker. Or the Russians in Goon?

Bedsy had a stat line of -1, 4 shots on goal, 2 PIMs and 1 giveaway that night.

Do you think center Connor Bedard was disrespecting former Chicago Blackhawks legend Patrick Kane?
