Troubling Scene live from Brossard for Canadiens forward Kirby Dach
There's been an incident that occurred today at Brossard with the Montreal Canadiens at training camp today.
It involved former Blackhawks forward, Kirby Dach who is needed sorely for the Canadiens to have a successful 82-game season.
That means, Martin St. Louis needs Kirby Dach healthy and ready to go.
Kirby Dach gets a scare
During the final seconds of intrasquad play between the Canadiens players, Dach would be hit in the face with a teammate's stick.
"Let's just try to have a practice game without the Canadiens getting hurt, please. Can we not punch Kirby Dach in the face right now, please?"
- HabsOnReddit
The concern would be that Dach would be injured yet again, taken out of the lineup due to a possible concussion. But so far there have been no reports that Dach will be removed from training camp due to injury.
Here is the scene as it happened:
The 23-year-old is a 6'4", 217-pound winger, who was drafted 3rd overall in 2019. He scored only 2 points last season with the Canadiens.
In 2022-2023, he scored 38 points in 58 games with the Canadiens and will look to revive his career in 2024-2025.
